Marylanders will get the chance to visit the Governor’s Mansion this weekend for a holiday open house.
Governor Hogan and First Lady Yumi Hogan will welcome the public for a free event from 1:00-4:00 p.m.
The house will be decorated with Christmas trees from Lowe’s Bayshore Nursery in Stevensville and a menorah to celebrate Hanukkah.
Government House chefs will make holiday cookies and brownies, as well as hot apple cider.
Visitors can bring unwrapped toys to be donated to those in need this holiday season. Maryland State Police will be collecting toys under a tent by the front gate.
Holiday ornaments designed by the First Lady will be available for purchase. All proceeds will go towards maintenance of the Government House.
Guests can park in the Bladen Street garage or in other garages located on Main Street and West Street.
Face masks will be required to enter.
