Longchamp tote bags are popular among high school and college-aged girls because they are durable and come in many colors. They’re the perfect go-to bag, and range from $120-$150 and can be purchased at Nordstom in the Towson Town Center.

Tech Accessories and Cases

iPhones, iPads and iBooks…Everyone’s got them, but not everybody has a Marc Jacobs or Tory Burch case for his or her device. This is a really fun gift that most soon-to-be college freshman wouldn’t be willing to spend money on, but will absolutely appreciate. These items can be found in the accessories department at Nordstrom. The phone cases run between $25 and $50, the Marc Jacobs iPad case is $58 and the Marc Jacobs lap top case is priced at $68.

Tom Cruise sports a pair of Wayfarers in "Risky Business"
Bradley Cooper delivers bad news in his Aviators

No one should go to college without Ray Bans! The Sunglass Hut at the Towson Town Center has a good selection of Ray Ban Wayfarers and Aviators. Most are priced between $150 and $200. You can probably get some reasonably priced knock-offs, too.

Money, Money, Money

There’s no shame in writing a check and, of course, cash is king!
