It may be Tuesday, but Mt. Vernon businesses are providing a good reason to go out. A happy hour will raise money for local businesses that were damaged in last weekโ€™s unrest.

In addition to much-discussed Mick Oโ€™Sheaโ€™s and Trinacria Cafe, a total of 15 businesses in the neighborhood were damaged or robbed amid Monday nightโ€™s rioting.

Tonight (May 5), happy hour specials are planned at Ware House 518, Mick Oโ€™Sheaโ€™s and Midtown BBQ, with a portion of the proceeds going to affected restaurants. Of course, patronizing one of the affected businesses also helps to support them.
