‘Tis the season to raise a glass full – and all week long, Johnny’s gives guests reason to cheer, with terrific events and specials that put the focus on the glass.
Johnny’s regular Happy Hour runs from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m., Mondays through Fridays, and features half-price beers, a daily featured $5 cocktail, red and white wine, and fabulous snacks (think $2 chip-and-dip combos).
On Mondays through Thursdays, consider sticking around for the restaurant’s Last Call Happy Hour, which takes place from 8 p.m. until 10 p.m. Wash down $3 lamb empanadas with Bulleit Rye Manhattans for $8, $3 Magic Hat beers and $4 glasses of Concannon Conservancy Petite Sirah.
If your tastes run specifically to whiskey or wine, make plans to visit Johnny’s for Whiskey Wednesdays, when all whiskeys and whiskey drinks are half off, or Bottle Shock Sundays, when all wines (except reserves) are half price after 4 p.m.
And if sushi and white or sparkling wines are your favorites, don’t miss Johnny’s Sushi Happy Hour, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Tuesday. Select hand rolls and seaweed salad, each for $5, pair fabulously with $3 glasses of sparkling and white.
From morning until night, Johnny’s has all your epicurean needs covered, from glass to plate. “We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner,” says owner Tony Foreman. “Happy hours are just an excuse for people to live at Johnny’s.”
With a pretty space that’s especially cozy this time of year, fabulous specials, and drinks and food that are both fun and delicious, settling into a Johnny’s booth for the season sounds like a pretty great proposition.
