McKeldin Square’s future may be the subject of controversy, but for the next few months the downtown gathering point will be the home of something most people can agree on. More lunch options are coming to the typically brutalist McKeldin in the form of a new market.
The Harbor Market, which debuts Friday, August 7, will have food from at least five local food spots during lunch time on Wednesdays and Fridays through the end of October. The first vendors to sign up include Dooby’s, Bricknfire Pizza Co, the Smoking Swine food truck, The Charmery, and Gundalow Juice.
Once you’re done with lunch, it’s time for recess. Games like cornhole, foursquare and ladder golf are also set to be onhand. And, there will be bear pong.
