The Johns Hopkins CIR is looking for healthy volunteers to participate in an inpatient Shigella challenge study. If you are between the ages of 18-50 you may be eligible to participate. The study is 3 months or 9 months long and requires the following:
- 2 screening visits
- 1 or 2 ten-day inpatient stay(s) and
- 4-5 follow up visits after each inpatient stay.
Eligible people will be compensated up to $3000 for one inpatient stay and up to $5750 for two inpatient stays for participation. For more information, please call 410-955-SAVE (7283) or visit our website.
