Perigeaux Vineyards and Winery

Team Trivia Night! Each Wednesday.

Bring your fiends and team-up against other teams testing their knowledge of events and all sorts of fun trivia! The winning team receives two bottles of wine. All points earned by teams throughout the season will be totaled to determine which teams will enter the play-off round in December to win the grand prize! All wine and drinks at special prices for the night.

Wine Down Fridays are family-friendly. $5 admission for anyone 21 and over. $1 for your first glass of wine or soda. Light snacks (cheese and crackers and, when available, smoked trout and salmon spreads) are available for purchase. We also have catering available by Gumbo-Elois.

Join us every Friday in November before Thanksgiving from 5-7pm to support the Thurmont Food Bank. We will have a box available for accepting food donations. A complimentary tasting of wine will be offered to those who bring a donation to the food bank.

The Baker family is offering intimate wine tastings at Old Westminster Winery by appointment. The experience includes a guided tasting of currently released wines, a barrel sampling from a future vintage and a light, artisan food pairing. Manchester Area Merchants Association Black Friday Open House

Black Friday Wine Dinner at the Dutch Corner restaurant is part of the Manchester Area Merchants Association Open House. Most of the town merchants will be open Friday evening from 6-9pm, as well as special displays and programs at the Firehouse and churches. Come and tour the town, visit the businesses and buy stuff. Cygnus Wine Cellars will be open beginning at 3pm for wine tasting, wine by the glass, and purchasing a selection of wine to take with you to enjoy with dinner at the Dutch Corner Restaurant, located a short walk from the winery across Main Street. Dinner service begins at 4pm and runs through 8pm. Dine to the accompaniment of fine piano music by Joyce Hongsermeier of SmartMusicStudio from 4-6pm.

DeJon Vineyard

The day after Thanksgiving has become a traditional kickoff to the holiday shopping season, as well as having too many leftovers to eat. So, we at DeJon would like to invite you to come out and receive a 10% discount off any wine bottle purchase and 15% discount off an entire case of any 12 bottles. Also, bring your Thanksgiving leftovers, grab a seat inside, or out by the bonfire, and enjoy yourself to the beautiful autumn scenery. It’s a great and different way to take a break from the busy malls and stores, while being able to purchase some wine bottles to give as gifts and finishing off your leftovers. We’ll have complimentary desserts too. Live music entertainment will be provided by Parkville native, Lonesome Gino. He performs from 1-4pm. In addition, there will also be a few select vendors for your shopping interests. This event is free for all to attend.
