Netflix’s House of Cards, starring Kevin Spacey, just put out a call for extras to portray Hill staffers, politicians, lobbyists and wealthy-looking Washington men and women. The series starts filming in and around Baltimore any day now.
“The ‘wealthy-looking Washington men and women’ might be a problem. But I am guessing we might be able to scrounge up a few of them in Roland Park or Hunt Valley,” jokes Baltimore Sun TV Critic David Zurawik.
See the AFTRA-SAG hotline website for more information on how to apply. David Zurawik also posts on his Z on TV blog more information about applying directly to the Central Casting Washington, D.C. office.
Who knew there was a Central Casting Washington, D.C. office? There’s a Baltimore office, too!
