Baltimore pizza lovers take note: Iggies, a beloved Mt. Vernon pizza spot, has moved to Towson. Well, sort of.
Iggies is actually still there at 818 N. Calvert, but it’s owned by new folks, who have promised not to change a thing, including the longstanding BYOB/tips to charity policy. (If any readers have stopped by since the ownership switch at the beginning of the month, let us know how it was!). Iggies owners Lisa Heckman and Peter Wood have opened a new spot in Towson, called Local Pie.
To make matters more confusing, Local Pie is located at 8 W. Pennsylvania Avenue, in the spot formerly occupied by Havana Road. It’s like Baltimore restaurant musical chairs or something.
