As Thomas Dolby and Running Man can tell you, random crime knows no bounds in Baltimore. Just before Christmas, purposeless purloiners struck again when they stole a wreath from a Canton door. In case the thief came back, the wreath’s owners left a note.
“To the person who stole our wreath, you’re a Grinch and you suck,” the note reads. “Merry Christmas, jerk.”
A firefighter saw the note and posted it on the Canton Neighbors Facebook group, calling it “very disappointing during the holiday season.”
One Redditor said the message was a wasted opportunity to use “ya filthy animal,” but we assume the firefighter wasn’t talking about the note. After all, there was a “Merry Christmas” amid the name-calling.
