You are correct: It’s not even close to that time of year again. But John Waters’ annual Christmas special is wildly popular, and thus warrants some lead time for snagging tickets.
Baltimore Soundstage will once again host “A John Waters Christmas,” per a newly created Facebook event. It’s set for Thursday, Dec. 19, or 10 months out. In the name, it promises to be “filthier and merrier” than normal, with the nice Thanksgiving caveat that it’ll also “stuff your turkey.”
Soundstage announced the date as Baltimore’s beloved Pope of Trash is set to perform his sold-out one-man show, “A Date with John Waters,” there on this Valentine’s Day.
Tickets for the Christmas special go on sale tomorrow morning at 10 a.m.
