
Did the photo above make you do a double take? It probably took me a good 30 seconds before I realized the familiar image of the wall in front of Johns Hopkins’ Milton S. Eisenhower library was… a little bit off.
Looks like some sneaky Johns Hopkins students (or faculty members?) used April Fool’s Day as an excuse to transform their school into the “John Hopkins University.” Apparently it just takes a little tape to make the university’s name a lot less confusing to some. (Actual question I once heard on campus: Is Johns Hopkins an old-timey plural of John Hopkins? Answer: No.)
