Event goers often wonder where their ticket fees go. In the case of Baltimore Arena attendees over a recent two-year period, the fees are going back to the public. A class action lawsuit that alleged improper ticket fees at Royal Farms Arena was settled.

According to the agenda for Wednesdayโ€™s Board of Estimates meeting, the city is proposing a $420,000 settlement for the suit. The city owns the Arena.

Additionally, the city is proposing to give people who bought tickets at the events in question a $3 voucher to use at a future event. The voucher would be used toward buying future tickets at the Arena.

The suit dates back to when the venue was still called the Baltimore Arena. The vouchers would come for tickets bought between August 1, 2011 and March 14, 2013.
