The holiday season brings memories of Mariah Carey’s time at the peak of pop, as “All I Want for Christmas is You” blares over the speakers at shops and parties. This time, Mariah will be on Baltimore’s lips well into the New Year.
Royal Farms Arena is set to be the first stop on Lionel Richie and Mariah Carey’s “All the Hits” tour. The show is set for March 15, and tickets go on sale Saturday.
The tour unites stars from two eras that have songs you’ve probably performed at karaoke. Richie has “Sail On,” “Three Times a Lady” and “Endless Love.” Mariah Carey has “Always Be My Baby,” “Fantasy” and “Dreamlover.” Plus, those high notes.
Those are just the basics. To say the party could go all night long, as other writers today have, is actually kind of an understatement.
