Okay, so technically it’s only known that Lt. Gov Anthony Brown will be making “an announcement” according to North Baltimore Patch. But if it’s something other than his plan to run for governor I don’t know why he’s bringing O’Malley and otherwise making such a big deal about it.
Personally, I think having gubernatorial ambitions should be grounds for disqualifying one from running. Who in his right mind would want the job? As I see it, all candidates should be drafted against their will. But of course, no one asked me.
The lieutenant governor and Gov. Martin O’Malley will be speaking outside Waverly Middle School on Ellerslie Avenue at 2 p.m. on Friday.
