This is why arguing and driving don’t mix: Yesterday, a Prince George’s County man got into such a heated argument with the passenger in his car that he pulled over, got out of the car, and lay down in the road. To make a point? To freak the other person out? Who knows; in any case, it didn’t work. He got hit by a car and died shortly afterward at a local hospital.
This is a sad story, but it’s also a teaching moment: hey, readers, don’t argue and drive, okay? Oh, and don’t drink and drive, either. (Police are saying that it appears the man had been drinking prior to his death. No surprise there.)
