Uber is widely known for on-demand rides whenever customers want them, but there are limits.

According to the Baltimore Police Department, a 32-year-old man crashed his car into a light pole in the 4000 block of El Dorado Ave. in Northwest Baltimore. The silver Mercury had 17 pounds of pot inside, so the man attempted to escape.

With his ride out of commission, he ordered an Uber. However, escape was not available at the push of a button. Police โ€œquickly locatedโ€ the man as he was trying to flee, and recovered the drugs from his car.

This isnโ€™t the first instance of criminal disruption that police have documented. A Royal Farms robber tried to flee in an Uber last year, but was also unsuccessful.
