From the return of Baltimore LGBTQ+ Pride and the AFRAM festival, to concerts and comedy shows, the local events calendar sure is warming up for June.

Paddle along the city’s waterfront in the Baltimore Floatilla, celebrate the summer solstice, and take on a massive brunch buffet.

Wizard of Oz, ongoing through Sunday, June 7, Tobyโ€™s Dinner Theater. All eyes have been on Oz lately after the release of the acclaimed โ€œWickedโ€ and โ€œWicked: For Goodโ€ movies, adapted for the screen from the stage musical (which itself was adapted from the book by Gregory Maguire). But Tobyโ€™s Dinner Theater is revisiting L. Frank Baumโ€™s beloved story that audiences grew up with. Dorothy and her little dog Toto find themselves swept away by a twister that transports them from their Kansas family farm to the magical and colorful Land of Oz. They travel with new friends along the yellow brick road on a quest to the Emerald City, where they hope the famed Wizard can grant them what they desire most. But first they must contend with a wicked witch and her flying monkeys who stand in their way.

Seven Stars Between Two Skies, ongoing through June 2026, Lord Baltimore Hotel. Lord Baltimore Hotelโ€™s Good Taste art exhibition will feature a new body of work by Baltimore-born visual artist Mark Anthony West Jr. Read more in this Baltimore Fishbowl article.

Flights in Full Bloom, ongoing through June 30, The Shops at Kenilworth. Discover model airplanes, historic artifacts, and aviation-inspired displays throughout the upper and lower levels.

Medieval Mindscapes, ongoing through August 23, Walters Art Museum. Featuring 22 works curated from the Waltersโ€™ collection of rare books and manuscripts, this exhibition showcases illustrated prayer books from the Middle Ages. Read more in this Baltimore Fishbowl article.

Fratino and Matisse: To See This Light Again, ongoing through September 6, Baltimore Museum of Art. Displaying their works side by side, this exhibition juxtaposes figure studies, interiors, and still-lifes by Louis Fratino and Henri Matisse.

Emma, ongoing through Sunday, June 14, Everyman Theatre. Jane Austenโ€™s โ€œEmmaโ€ is adapted for the stage by Kate Hamill in this production that offers a modern take on the classic love and romance story. Emma Woodhouseโ€™s adventures in matchmaking are infused with comedy and surprise.

The Divine Sister, ongoing through Sunday, June 21, Vagabond Players. โ€œThe Divine Sisterโ€ will bless audiences with a satirical comedy about Mother Superior confronting visions, scandals, and secrets. Campy and witty, this production plays on classic tropes of faith and spirituality.

Week of June 1 through June 7

Annapolis Symphony Orchestra – Shostakovich No. 5, Monday, June 1, 8 p.m., Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Side-by-side with their ASO musician-mentors, the Annapolis Symphony Academy’s Orion Youth Orchestra will perform Nancy Galbraithโ€™s Midnight Stirring.

Aspects of America, Tuesday, June 2, 7:30 p.m., Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Cรฉcile McLorin Salvant (vocalist) and Music Director Jonathon Heyward will perform works from the American Songbook, and brothers Demarre (flute) and Anthony (clarinet) McGill perform a world-premiere by Billy Childs.

Picnic in the Park: Patterson Park, Wednesday, June 3, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Patterson Park. Baltimore Heritage’s free Picnic in the Park series, celebrating Baltimore’s parks and green spaces, will travel to Patterson Park. Bring a picnic blanket and your own food and refreshments, or enjoy some of the drinks and snacks that will be provided.

The Future-Ready Workplace, Wednesday, June 3, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., DoubleTree by Hilton North โ€“ Pikesville. Jewish Community Services (JCS), an agency of The Associated, invites the Greater Baltimore community to this free event designed to help people better understand and navigate todayโ€™s shifting world of work.

WTMD First Thursday, Thursday, June 4, 5:30 p.m. to 10 p.m., Canton Waterfront Park. Join Fantastic Cat, Happy Landing, and Seven Teller for the first WTMD First Thursday concert of the season.

Nature by the Fire: Clever Camouflage, Friday, June 5, 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., Irvine Nature Center. Warm up by the campfire, roast some marshmallows, and join Naturalist, Ash, for nature themed fun, including a visit from one of Irvineโ€™s animal ambassadors.

Megan Maroney, Friday, June 5, doors open at 6 p.m., event begins at 7 p.m., CFG Bank Arena. Months after the debut of her third studio album, “Cloud 9,” Georgia-born country music singer Megan Maroney is coming to Baltimore.

Planet K-Pop, Friday, June 5, doors open at 6 p.m., event begins at 7 p.m., Lyric Baltimore. If you enjoy the music of “KPop Demon Hunters,” BTS, Huntr/x, BLACKPINK, and other K-pop tunes, you’ll want to come out to this tribute concert. Prepare yourself for high-energy performances, on-stage dance battles, and more.

Friday Night Live: Summer Concert Series, Friday, June 5 through Friday, August 14, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Hunt Valley Towne Centre. Enjoy live music from your favorite local bands, a pre-concert magic show with Liam Laugherty, and free balloon art.

Pride & Joy, Saturday, June 6, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Port Discovery. Featuring hands-on activities, performances, and other playful surprises, Pride & Joy promises a fun-filled day of creativity, connection, and community.

The Pietasters, Saturday, June 6, doors at 7 p.m., Ottobar. The Pietasters will make a stop in Baltimore with Hub City Stompers, Italian Blood, Braceface, and The Blanks.

Mortified Pride Edition 2026, Saturday, June 6, 7 p.m., The Theater at Creative Alliance. Produced by Alex Hewett and Adam Ruben, Mortified Baltimore stars everyday adults sharing the most embarrassing diary entries, poems, love letters, lyrics, and locker notes from their youth. In celebration of Pride, this edition of will explore sexual and gender identity, coming out, and other LGBTQ+ stories.

Rachmaninoff 3, Saturday, June 6, 8 p.m., Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Music Director Jonathon Heyward will conduct Rachmaninoff Symphony No. 3 and the Shostakovich Festive Overture, a world premiere concerto from Billy Childs featuring brothers Demarre (flute) and Anthony McGill (clarinet).

Summer Walker, Tuesday, June 9, doors open at 6 p.m., event begins at 7:30 p.m., CFG Bank Arena. Here’s your chance to see Georgia-born singer Summer Walker as she brings her “Still Finally Over It Tour” to Baltimore.

Indigo Girls, Tuesday, June 9, doors open at 6:30 p.m., event starts at 7:30 p.m., Lyric Baltimore. Emily Saliers and Amy Ray comprise the Grammy-winning folk rock duo Indigo Girls, and they’re coming to Baltimore.

Pride Happy Hour and Karaoke Night, Tuesday, June 9, 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., 33 W North Ave. Sing your heart at at a Pride-themed karaoke night and happy hour event.

Suits & Sneakers Cocktail Reception, Wednesday, June 10, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., Top of the World Observation Level at 401 E Pratt St 27th floor. Enjoy an open bar, light bites, music provided by a DJ, and a Pride-themed sneaker contest.

DEVO, Wednesday, June 10, doors open at 7 p.m., event starts at 8 p.m., Lyric Baltimore. Formed in 1970s Akron, Ohio, American New Wave band DEVO is known for hits like “Whip It.” Now they’re coming to Baltimore on their “Mutate Don’t Stagnate” tour.

Pride Glow and Skate, Thursday, June 11, 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., Shake & Bake Family Fun Center, 1601 Pennsylvania Ave. Pride is on a roll with this glow-in-the-dark skate party for youth ages 18 and under. There will be music, performances, and more.

Eat, Drink & Learn: โ€˜Conservation & Cosmosโ€™, Thursday, June 11, 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., Irvine Nature Center. Learn how Irvine determines and implements best management practices for conserving and enhancing their land, and what you can do at home.

Twilight Thursday: Summer Concert Series, Thursday, June 11 through Thursday, August 13, 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m., Foundry Row. Bring your lawn chairs, relax, and enjoy live performances from local bands.

Interactive Movie Night: The Birdcage, Thursday, June 11, 8 p.m., The Theater at Creative Alliance. Gather with fellow film lovers and experience The Birdcage like never before, with behind-the-scenes insights, trivia, and interactive elements throughout the screening.

Zoomerang, Friday, June 12, 6 p.m. to 11 p.m., Maryland Zoo. Celebrate the Maryland Zoo’s 150th anniversary with a “red tie” gala. There will be gourmet tastings, cocktails and other beverages, live music, DJs, a silent disco, ice sculptures, opportunities to meet animal ambassadors, live cooking demonstrations, a silent auction, and a preview of the zoo’s new red panda habitat. Twilight on the Terrace Gala, Friday, June 12, 7 p.m. to 11 p.m., M&T Bank Exchange. Join fellow LGBTQ+ community members and allies for this fundraiser gala for the Pride Center of Maryland. The night will include dinner, performances, awards, cocktails, music, and dancing.

Summer Fridays at The Shops at Kenilworth, Friday, June 12 through Friday, August 14 (excludes Friday, July 3), 10:30 a.m., The Shops at Kenilworth. Enjoy visits from family-friendly organizations, including Irvine Nature Center and Port Discovery.

Verdi’s Rigoletto Conducted by Heyward, Friday, June 12, 7 p.m., Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. This in-concert presentation will feature an all-star cast including Quinn Kelsey (Rigoletto), Raven McMillon (Gilda), Andrew Owens (Duke of Mantua), Peixin Chen (Sparafucile), J’Nai Bridges (Maddalena), Christian Pursell (Count Monterone), and The Washington Chorus.

Midsummer/Bowie Elton Queen, Friday, June 12 through Sunday, June 20, 8 p.m., Elijah’s Park, Baltimore Peninsula. This musical adaptation of Shakespeareโ€™s โ€œA Midsummer Nightโ€™s Dreamโ€ will feature the music of David Bowie, Elton John, and Queen. Read more in this Baltimore Fishbowl article.

Baltimore Floatilla, Saturday, June 13, 7 a.m. to 12 p.m., Canton Waterfront Park. Get groovy with a ’70s-themed paddle along Baltimore’s waterfront. The floatilla will travel a 5-mile round trip from Canton Waterfront Park to the Inner Harbor. There will be a live musical performance by a local band aboard Mr. Trash Wheel. The event supports the Waterfront Partnership of Baltimore’s Healthy Harbor Initiative.

Baltimore Pride 5K, Saturday, June 13, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m., Druid Hill Park. Just put one foot in front of the other as you run or walk the 4th Annual Pride 5K race.

Baltimore Pride Parade, Saturday, June 13, 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., Charles Street and North Avenue. Celebrate LGBTQ+ Pride as floats, marching bands, community groups, and special guests make their way through the streets of Baltimore.

Pride Festival, Saturday, June 13 (12 p.m. to 9 p.m.) and Sunday, June 14 (12 p.m. to 8 p.m.), Druid Hill Park. Catch live performances, DJs, wellness programming, workshops, vendors, food, and more during this two-day festival celebrating LGBTQ+ Pride in Baltimore.

2026 ABC Gala, Saturday, June 13, 5:30 p.m., The Hall! at Maryland Live. Join Associated Black Charities for a celebration of community, courage, and collective impact.

Moving Forward and Beyond: A Juneteenth Celebration, Monday, June 15, 2 p.m. to 3 p.m., The Walters Art Museum, 600 North Charles Street. To honor Juneteenth, The Walters invites people to enjoy a musical and operatic performance by singer Alexandria Crichlow and professor and pianist Dr. Samuel Springer. A performance celebrating the African diaspora with aria from different genres and cultures, expect this unmatched talent from Morgan State University to take audiences on a musical journey befitting the holiday. Concert is free, though registration is required.

Hot Club of Baltimore, Tuesday, June 16, 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., Keystone Korner. Experience the music of 1930s and 1940s Paris with guitarist Michael Joseph Harris and his band of top traditional jazz musicians.

Daniel Tosh: My First Farewell Tour, Wednesday, June 17, 7 p.m. to 10 p.m., France-Merrick Performing Arts Center. Best known for creating and hosting hit Comedy Central show, TOSH.O, Daniel Tosh is bringing his stand-up tour to Baltimore.

“The Underground Railroad: Freedom Seekers on the B&O” Public Tour, Friday, June 19, 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., B&O Railroad Museum. Explore the history of the Underground Railroad using experiences of 27 documented freedom seekers who have interacted with the B&O Railroad.

AFRAM, Friday, June 19 through Sunday, June 21, 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., Druid Hill Park. Celebrate 50 years of AFRAM with live music, local vendors, entertainers, childrenโ€™s activities, African drumming, and carnival mask-making. This free, family-friendly event is one of the largest African American festivals on the East Coast.

Juneteenth Celebration at Benjamin Banneker Historical Park, Friday, June 19, 3 p.m. to 8 p.m., Benjamin Banneker Historical Park and Museum, 300 Oella Avenue, Catonsville. Enjoy live music, living history presentations, local vendors and exhibitors, and more. Admission and parking are free, but registration is requested. (pray) Opening Night, Saturday, June 20, 7:30 p.m., Baltimore Center Stage, 700 North Calvert Street. This Off-Broadway production of (pray) runs from June 13 through July 5, with opening night on June 20. The choreopoem channels the energy and vibrance of a Sunday Baptist Church service, confronting the complexity of spirituality and reponsibility to previous generations.

Summer Solstice Stroll, Saturday, June 20, 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., Maryland Zoo. Learn how different animals spend the long nights of summer, and celebrate the longest day of the year with an exclusive giraffe experience, popsicles, and a guided tour led by the Zooโ€™s educators.

Solstice Gala, Saturday, June 20, 8 p.m. to 11:59 p.m., Maryland Science Center. Celebrate 50 years of the Maryland Science Center with science demonstrations, live musical performances, and all inclusive food and beverages.

Baltimore Oddities & Curiosities Expo, Saturday, June 20, and Sunday, June 21, Baltimore Convention Center. Explore the weird, wild, and wonderful at the Baltimore Oddities & Curiosities Expo. The event will feature vendors, dealers, artists, and small businesses showcasing items like taxidermied animals, horror/Halloween-inspired pieces, quack medical devices, skulls, bones, funeral collectibles and more.

Motown & More, Sunday, June 21, 7:30 p.m., Gordon Center for the Performing Arts. Celebrate Fatherโ€™s Day with the sounds of Motown as The Legacy Lives takes audience members on a nostalgic musical journey.

Weeks of June 22 through June 30

Baltimore by Baltimore Unplugged presents Brent Birckhead, Thursday, June 25, 4โ€“7 p.m., Bond Street Wharf, 901 South Bond Street. Celebrate Black Music Month with weekly live jazz concerts presented by Keystone Korner. There are local sips and bites and arts vendors lining the park. Soul Smoked BBQ, Bar By Keystone Korner, and Tarharka Bros mean no cooking that night, and shop local with Greedy Reads, The Spice & Tea Exchange, and more.

STEM Exploration Zone, Friday, June 26 through Sunday, June 28, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Pratt Street Pavillion, 201 E. Pratt Street. Living Classrooms Foundation and Sail250 Maryland & Air Show Baltimore will have more than 30 exhibitors, nonprofits, and organizations offering hands-on activities in maritime, aviation, naval marine, and environmental sciences for families and students to enjoy at the Inner Harbor, bringing America’s maritime and naval heritage to life.

“Voices of History” Street Fair, Saturday, June 27, 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., 1601-1649 East North Avenue. Hosted by The National Great Blacks In Wax Museum, this free event will include admission to the museum, live entertainment featuring local talent, a children’s area with activities and games, and local crafts, art, and food vendors.

Baltimore Brunch Festival, Saturday, June 27, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m., Power Plant Live! Enjoy food and drinks from more than 20 brunch-inspired restaurants and food trucks. VIP ticketholders will get access to an unlimited 2-hour brunch buffet as well as bottomless mimosas, Bloody Marys, seltzers and more. Attendees with general admission tickets will get their first drink free. For everyone, there will be silent headphone parties, live jazz and funk bands, and more.

Baltimore Family Barn Dance, Saturday, June 27, 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m., 2200 Saint Paul St. Dance squares, sets, circles, contras, and waltzes taught and called by Becky Hill. Live music will be performed by Katie Stahl & Sunita Pathik. Children are welcome but need an adult chaperone.

Academy Concert, Saturday, June 27, 7 p.m., Joseph Meyerhoff Symphony Hall. Comprising adult instrumental musicians from around the United States and world, BSO Academy participants will play alongside BSO musicians under Academy Principal Conductor Nicholas Hersh.

Law & Order SIU: Special Improv Unit, Sunday, June 28, 6 p.m., Guilford Hall Brewery, 1611 Guilford Avenue. DUN DUN! Death and Dinner isn’t the strangest combination considering it’s a comic reboot of the classic TV show “ripped” from the audience suggestions and thrives on audience participation. “Dazed and Confused” at The Sound Garden & Arepi, Tuesday, June 30, 7 p.m., El Jardรญn, 1616 Thames Street. The Summer Film Series finishes out the month of June with cult classic “Dazed and Confused”. Enjoy good vibes, beer, and arepas while watching a great movie under the stars. Admission is free, bring your own chair, and the movie begins at dusk.
