Maryland Gov. Wes Moore’s administration has launched a free AI platform that provides neighborhood insights, funding resources and zoning information to entrepreneurs and developers.

The Maryland Community Compass – formerly the Maryland Community Business Compass – was expanded in partnership with AI research company Anthropic.

Developers can now browse a database of 2,600 public and private funding programs, and they can look up a single parcel and understand what can be built there as the AI tool draws on place-based incentives, millions of property records and statewide zoning codes
