Baltimore Mayor Stephanie Rawlings-Blake was called in last-minute to gavel the Democratic National Convention after the ousting of controversial and now scandal-plagued party chair Debbie Wasserman Schultz. And, boy, she gave the convention what will undoubtedly be one of its most GIF-worthy moments.
Rawlings-Blake called the contentious evening to order competently enough:
Unfortunately, she forgot to strike the gavel. Fortunately, when she finally remembered she was suddenly possessed by the ghost of Groucho Marx.
