One of Baltimore’s favorite guitar players just got a signature model that doubles as an art piece.
Reverend Guitars announced the release of the Jenn Wasner Signature model, in honor of the guitarist and singer of Baltimore’s Wye Oak and Flock of Dimes. The “JW1” shares most of its specs with the company’s Jetstream HB model, Wasner’s go-to guitar, but features body contours based on the Buckshot model and a unique graphic finish designed by Baltimore artist April Camlin.
Camlin, who also plays drums in the band Wume, is a textile artist who adapted her optically stimulating black-and-white designs to the specific for of the guitar.
