This Thursday, March 12, Parkway Theatre and Union Craft Brewing present Polyester. Doors open at 6pm and the first 48 guests will receive a limited edition Union Craft Brewing Divine IPA Glass. Enjoy a Divine Flamingo Cocktail at the bar while Drag Queen Bambi Galore hosts a special happy hour with Polyester and Divine IPA giveaways. Advance ticket buyers will be entered into a special raffle whose prizes include: a private tour of the Union Craft Brewing facility and tasting for 12, 1 criterion collection Blu-ray of POLYESTER, and 5 Odorama cards signed by John Waters. It wouldn’t be a Polyester party without costumes so dress like Divine and drink a Divine IPA for free!!
Once a month, Parkway friend organizations and businesses from around the city come to present films at this vibrant intersection in the heart of Baltimore that is home to the Maryland Film Festival. North and Charles is a series of screenings that are hosted by community partners who bring to the Parkway cinematic treats from a variety of genres. Directed by John Waters, this month’s feature, Polyester, follows a frustrated housewife, Francine Fishpaw (Divine), who tries to maintain her sanity while taking care of her dysfunctional household.
