New Baltimore Orioles Owner David Rubenstein definitely has a passion for creative marketing. He was recently in a video featuring Orioles Co-Owner and Former Orioles Hall of Fame Shortstop Cal Ripken, Jr. “working” in the infield at Oriole Park at Camden Yards; starred in another video as a DJ cranking Orioles Magic alongside the Oriole Bird; and, today, was featured in yet another video dressed as Mr. Splash announcing he’ll be the guest splasher at this Friday’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks.
Baltimore Native and Carlyle Group Co-Founder Rubenstein took over as controlling owner of the Orioles right before the start of this season, a season in which the Orioles currently have the best record in the American League.
