Look toward Bromo for art this weekend. Maryland Art Place’s annual benefit returns on Friday, to make an art collector out of all of us.
On Tuesday, artists stopped by to cover the walls of MAP’s home at 218 West Saratoga St. with original works from floor to ceiling. At Out of Order on April 15, anyone who shows up can bid on a piece of art in a silent auction. The event also features the announcement of two imprint artists, Mia Halton and Ali Seradge, who will be featured throughout the year.
During the event, Sweetgreen is providing the food, and Union is bringing the beer. There’s also an after party at 14-Karat Cabaret. The revenue generated from the event goes directly to supporting Maryland Art Place, which is a longtime supporter of living artists.
