The Amazing Race will take place on Friday, May 12, 2017, 12:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m. in Clifton Park, and at Clifton Mansion (2701 Saint Lo. Drive, Baltimore, MD 21213). The day’s activities will be followed by an awards ceremony and Baltimore’s Biggest Outdoor Happy Hour which lasts until 8:00 p.m. with music, food trucks and fun with your friends, family, and colleagues.
What will we be doing?
You will do fun things like racing to design the best fruit pizza, playing trivia games, riding a stationary bike to light up a Tiny House, and navigating an obstacle course in a hazmat suit. All for a great cause!
Who can participate?
It doesn’t matter if you are 21 or 91. You don’t have to possess extraordinary athletic ability. If you can solve puzzles, collaborate, get through an obstacle course, and run short distances – you have what it takes to win. Each team may consist of four to six people. Be sure to recruit team members who will bring a lot of team spirit!

your team can earn extra points BEFORE you arrive on event day!
Your team gets 30 extra points by adding a Team Up & Serve Day. Roll up your sleeves and volunteers with one of our programs like Real Food Farm or Community Lot Team. Pick a day and time BEFORE the event on Friday, May 12th (on a first-come, first-serve basis), and your team gets 30 extra points. You’ll learn more about Civic Works, and you could push your team into a winning position!
The entry level price for one team is $1,500, and there are also other sponsorship packages available.
