I’ll admit, Chick-Fil-A is pretty good, as far as fast food restaurants go. Those waffle cut fries are delicious! But I can guarantee you, you’ll never ever catch me camping out in front of a fast food restaurant, awaiting its opening.
Not so the 200-plus people who have spent days camping out in front of the new Chick-Fil-A in Canton Crossing, which is scheduled to open today. Of course, the fact that the first 100 customers get free Chick-Fil-A for a year probably helps. But that doesn’t explain what’s motivating the next 100 folks in line.
Maybe for some people, it’s just a hobby. Or a lifestyle. “This is my 49th time. I am a Chick-Fil-A fanatic,” a Cecil County woman told WJZ. The store will open on Friday at 6 AM — but maybe wait a bit to get there; there might be a line.

People are stupid. It’s fast food.
Yes, they do serve lemmings.
