I love this house. I’m not going to lie; I haven’t felt this way since Whit Harvey had a listing on Goodwood Gardens in Roland Park. That house was sprawling and expansive, with 5 huge bedrooms and extraordinary details throughout on one of the most beautiful streets in Baltimore.
Goodwood Gardens. When I hear the phrase “a charming storybook house” I think, “tiny, overgrown, needs work.” But not so in this case. As I walked through the house I was thinking, yes, yes…charming storybook house!”
The exterior brick has a subtle texture and mellow color, as though it has been there forever and will continue to be there for years to come. The brick pathway that winds around the house has moss growing between the cracks, and the small shaded backyard is edged with ground cover gardens that make it low maintenance and easy to enjoy.
