Hi there! My name is Aurora. I was brought to BHS because my owner was going to be evicted if she kept me. Can you imagine? A sweet little thing like me?! I have been here since May 2011, the dog thatโ€™s been here the longest. Itโ€™s probably because I like taking my time getting to know people. Iโ€™m a bit scared of men โ€“especially loud men โ€” and I may growl a little until I learn to trust you; please donโ€™t take it personally! Iโ€™d also like to be the queen of the castle so if you already have a dog or children, your home may not be the best fit for me. Iโ€™ve been working really hard on tricks like โ€œsit,โ€ โ€œshake,โ€ and more! Iโ€™d love to show them off for you. Letโ€™s meet outside of the kennel where I can show you. My biggest hope is to find a forever home with someone who will be patient, calm, understanding, and love me as much as the staff here does! My name means โ€œdawn;โ€ let me light up your life! Please come and meet me to see what a sweet dog I really am!

*My adoption fee has been sponsoredโ€“ Iโ€™m free!*

Pep
Hello. My name is Pep and I was originally adopted from BHS when I was just a kitten, but was brought back recently because I was not getting along with the other female cat. Apparently I was okay with the male cat and played with him, but I would scratch the female. Iโ€™m not a fan of loud noises, but I really love scratching posts and cat beds fit to my size. Thanks for reading my profile and I hope to see you soon.
