Now that summer is in full swing, it’s time to make sure you spend plenty of time outside. And preferably with a good brew or two. Summer festivals and special events are great for that (since, well, drinking in public otherwise is illegal). One great monthly happening you can enjoy all the way into September is Pints in the Park– the fabulous outdoor happy hour that makes summer even happier.
Pints in the Park features classic games like corn hole and ping pong, to be played while enjoying $2 beers from Baltimore breweries. Each week features a different brewery and live music to go with it. Next Friday, July 10 will feature drinks from Union Craft Brewing and Linganore Winery. Dizzy Cow Pizzeria will be serving food and there will be music by the band Canker Blossom. In August, Heavy Seas beer will be flowing, along with wine from Linganore, and food from The Smoking Swine food truck. So sure, this may be the actual holiday weekend, but summer is supposed to be full of fun, lazy adventure. So even after the fireworks are over, you’ve got next Friday to look forward to.
The next Pints in the Park takes place Friday July 10th from 5pm-8pm at 100 N. Charles Street/ 20 W. Fayette Street in Baltimore. For more information, visit www.godowntownbaltimore.com.
