SouthBMore.com reports that Federal Hill’s Pop Tacos is closing March 26, to reopen in a new location in June.
Sometimes you get a very particular craving, say for a burrito w/ Korean flavors. If you’re in Federal Hill, Pop Tacos has you covered. Such fusion cuisine yens are going to go unsatisfied for April and May, however. The eatery is moving a stone’s throw away from its Cross Street Market location to a storefront at 17 E. Cross Street, and it’s going to take a couple months to reopen.
If you can’t stand the wait, there’s plenty to like about the change. Owners Jai and Jung Song told SouthBMore.com that the new location will stay open until 9 p.m. most days and possibly later on the weekends. That’s impossible to do at the current location, given that Cross Street Market closes everyday at 6 p.m.
The new location’s bigger kitchen will allow them to add to their menu. And they’ll be offering online ordering and delivery.
