Port Discovery Halloween Howl

Port Discovery Children’s Museum will host its popular annual Fall-o-ween: Country Fair on Saturday, October 29, 2016. Children are invited to participate in a costume parade led by a stilt walker at 1 p.m. For tickets, visit portdiscovery.org.

This year’s event features a full schedule of special programming that will take place in the Museum’s Atrium, as well as on each of its three floors. Event highlights include cinnamon bat cookies provided by McCormick, face painting, an animal petting zoo from WildLife Adventures, a creepy, crawly insect exhibit courtesy of Schumbug!, a candy corn relay and much more. Please see below for the complete event schedule.

“Our Fall-o-ween celebration is one of the highlights of our year,” says Port Discovery Education Director Nora Thompson. “We’ve packed the Museum from top to bottom with so much for kids to see and do. We have crafts, creatures, cookies, costumes and more. It’s like a country harvest celebration right in the heart of the City!”
