The former Cavacos Pharmacy building at 1001 to 1003 W. 36th St. in Hampden sold at auction on Wednesday for $1,023,750 โ a top bid of $975,000 plus a buyerโs premium of $48,750.
Alex Cooper Auctioneers handled the sale, which began online on July 24 and ended shortly after noon on Wednesday.
The 6,534-square-foot corner building has two commercial tenants at street level, Ma Petite Shoe and Transmission Tattoo, and live/work space above. For many years it housed the Cavacos Apothecary & Pharmacy.
The opening bid was $650,000. Offers rose from $700,000 at 7 a.m. Wednesday. A buyer has not been disclosed.
