Courtesy of Citybizlist – Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis has denied using a deer antler-derived spray banned by the NFL, Business Insider reported.
After being asked about this many times during Super Bowl media day and continually refusing to comment, he became frustrated and denied the allegations.
Pointing out his clean record on drug tests, Lewis called the allegations “stupidity” and said he does not want to give the people making the claims any credit or publicity.
The gist of the allegations is that Lewis reportedly called Mitch Ross, the founder of an alternative sports medicine company S.W.A.T.S. and asked for several supplements, after injuring his triceps on October 14.
