This Lutherville contemporary is undoubtedly weird but potentially cool. The house was designed by celebrated architect James Grieves who was responsible for the beautiful Brandywine River Museum in Chadds Ford, PA. Like the museum, the house has a distinctly organic-modern feel, relying heavily on large windows to bring the wooded exterior inside. The fly in the ointment here is purely decorative. The home was built in 1967 and screams for some period pieces. A peacock blue sofa, a Rex Ray lithograph and at least one Barcelona chair? Just picture the Drapers’ new apartment on Mad Men and you will catch my drift. And  seriously, don’t even act like you don’t want to be as cool as Don and Megan. Visualize: Perusing consignment shops for the perfect hostess caftans and mastering false eyelashes. It is important that you look the part!
