With the holiday season switching into high gear next weekend, local boutiques will vie to get you through the doors. Angela Tandy, owner of Harbor East boutique Sassanova, has come up with a fun new strategy: she’s going to hide throughout the store gift certificates in assorted amounts for shoppers to discover. “I wanted to promote the store in a new and different way, and I heard that a store in the Midwest tried it and had a great response,” she said.
In shoes, in a purse, in the pocket of a jacket…who knows where she’ll tuck away the prizes, but it will be fun to find out. We’ll post more details about the scavenger hunt next week in another post about holiday happenings at Sassanova.
