Spike Gjerde’s menu of restaurants is set to include a new spot in a high-profile DC hotel project.
According to Eater, the James Beard Award winning chef will run one of two restaurants in an Adams Morgan hotel. The Line will feature a pair of restaurants in a historic First Church of Christ building.
The Woodberry Kitchen and Parts and Labor chef will be joined by a pair of familiar faces in his first venture to the nation’s capital. Another restaurant at The Line will be run by his friend Erik Bruner-Yang of DC-based Maketti. At his own restaurant, Gjerde will be joined by mixologist Corey Polyoka.
The new spot is set to open in 2017.
