The Orioles lost and a local sports talk radio caller from Baltimore broke into a rap, but thatโ€™s not the worst of what happened on air last night. In mid-rap, caller โ€œWill from Baltimoreโ€ cut off his rhymes, and told The D.A. Show hosts that he was being robbed.

โ€œD.A. Iโ€™m gonna have to call you back. Iโ€™m being robbed,โ€ Will said.

After several moments of silence, host Damon Amendolara summons his instant analysis skills. He relays that Will was working at a 7-11 at 3:30 a.m. when he was robbed. The hosts then break down whether the robber was trying to steal Twix or Bugles, and how much cash might have been in the drawer.

Amendolaraโ€™s hot take: โ€œDid that just happen?โ€

Even after making fun of the incident, the D.A. Show did take the time to follow up with Will.

โ€œThe good news is Will was okay,โ€ said a statement posted to the showโ€™s YouTube account. โ€œWe spoke to him again an hour later, and while he was dealing with paperwork, he was fine.โ€
