Small businesses and non-profits are especially hard hit during the coronavirus outbreak. We get it! Baltimore Fishbowl is a small business, too. To help small businesses and non-profits, we will provide regular updates to let you know how they are coping.
The following is an update from Freddie Ephraim, Director of Business Development, and Mike Laroque, Director of Operations of SpotWash, on how they are adapting and coping during these times.
How have you altered your business to adapt to the quarantine?
SpotWash has extended its reach outside of the normal parking garage-only service and now we are equipped to service vehicles in your driveway overnight while you sleep without increasing the price.
Are you doing something for the community or your employees that you want to share with our readers?
SpotWash started an initiative in which people can donate a car wash that we provide to registered Healthcare providers in our system. The person doing the donation will receive a thank you note from the provider knowing that they impacted someone on the front line for us directly.

What is the status of your employees?
Working Hard! All employees are equipped with gloves and the ability to do a contactless wash. SpotWash is the only provider that offers a contactless wash experience meaning you do not have to meet your SpotWasher to exchange keys. Just use the provided spot wash key locker and leave it on your door.
How can readers help you get through the crisis?
No one likes having a dirty car. Let us clean it for you because you deserve a clean lifestyle at a fair and honest price. Try us out. Keep us open and our employees working.
How are you coping, personally?
Honestly, well. Most everyone is stressed out these days and with good cause. The only thing you can do is focus on what you can do and minimize the focus on what you can’t change. It’s ok to be stressed out, but we try to channel it into motivation to get things done. People were not going to garages anymore, so we brought the service in the garage to them that wasn’t scheduled to be released for another 6 months.
Is there anything else you would like to share with our readers?
SpotWash is a company that truly stands behind its work. We wanted to make the chore of getting a car washed and interior cleaned into something simple and affordable. People deserve to have a clean lifestyle and spend their free time doing things they want to do. We don’t just sell car washes; we sell time at an affordable rate. When someone tries us the first time, our retention is over 90% for repeat customers. Please give us a try and you will see why our customers love us.
