Bar Vasquez Kicks Off Philanthropic Efforts with Benefit for YouthWorks

bar-vasquezBar Vasquez, the Argentine restaurant from the Foreman Wolf restaurant group, just opened a couple weeks ago, but the celebrated team behind the new spot is wasting no time diving into the world of charitable fundraising.

An event benefitting YouthWorks, is set for Sunday, November 13, starting at 3 p.m. The late afternoon party will feature hors d’oeuvres and food stations, an open bar and a silent auction, plus live music by Pavel Urkiza & Co. Tickets are $125 per person or $250 for VIP, which includes access to the Mezzanine space, plus a full whiskey bar and dinner.

YouthWorks is Baltimore City’s summer jobs program for youth and young adults aged 14 to 21. It is operated through the Mayor’s Office of Employment Development, which coordinates with employers in a variety of industries, including healthcare, hospitality, finance, construction, the arts and environmental jobs.

In 2015 and 2016, the program offered five-week summer jobs to over 8,000 youths and young adults.
