Hello, I’m Maxx. If you are looking for a sweet older gentleman who needs a loving home where he can spend his golden years then I’m the one for you. I may be almost 14 years old, but I am still a spunky guy, if I do say so myself. I love people and being held and carried around, and will also give you kisses that will make you melt. In my previous home I lived with everything — dogs, cats and kids! Needless to say, they all loved me. I am a staff favorite and if you stop in soon to meet me, you will find out why.
Cowabunga dude! Hey, I’m Cali Girl and yes, it is short for California Girl… I love the sun and like tohave fun. I’m a strong and active lady who pretty much has the energy of a room full of toddlers. I could go all day long. I am still young and act like a puppy and must also admit that I would benefit from some training classes. It would be lots of fun for me and my new family. I love to run, but what I totally enjoy is belly rubs. They rock! If you would like to adopt a dog like me who will keep you busy and on your toes then come in very soon.
Hi there! My name is Mariah. I am looking for my forever home, and one with an active lifestyle would be amazing. I am full of energy and would be a good running partner! I may be almost six years old, but I have the energy of a puppy! I love playing with squeaky toys and taking long walks. My previous owner called me “Moo Moo” for short, and when I hear my nickname I get SUPER EXCITED! The staff say it’s really cute! I lived with children ages 10-17 in my previous home. I enjoy meeting new people who will give me lots of love and attention. I know some commands like “sit” and “paw” and I am willing to learn even more things from my new family. See you soon!
If you are looking for a sweetheart of a dog who is sociable and well-mannered then please stop in and ask to see me. I’m Rowan, quiet and laid-back, although I can be a bit active when I want. Mainly, though, I like to lie on dog beds or comforters. I am actually a “desk dog” here at BHS, meaning that I am behind the adoption desk a lot and welcome people as they come in. I know commands like “sit” and “down” and I’m willing to learn even more with my new family. I believe that I would make a terrific family dog. When you come in to meet me I think you will feel the same!
