Senior Skylar Spore came to Roland Park Country School in the ninth grade eager to learn the Arabic language, one of a seven foreign languages offered in the RPCS, BMS and Gilman tri-school community.
Gilman School has 77 reasons to be proud of its Latin program this spring. That’s how many boys and girls earned awards on the 2017 National Latin exam — nearly half of the Bryn Mawr, RPCS and Gilman students to take the exam.

Roland Park Country School fifth grade teachers Peggy Brooks and Kaci Garland charged their students with the mission of promoting positive change and making their communities and the world a better place. The students brainstormed, researched and developed their own proposals and traveled to Annapolis, MD to meet with political leaders to discuss their ideas.

In a room of 111 athletes from the Baltimore area at the 77thAnnual McCormick Unsung Heroes Banquet, our very own RPCS senior Liz Schlerf was selected as the female grand prize winner and was awarded the Charles P. McCormick Scholarship worth $40,000 over four years.
