Urbano, a new Tex-Mex concept from Common Plate Hospitality Group, opened Tuesday at the Rye Street Market building in Baltimore Peninsula. Urbano occupies a 4,500 sq. ft. corner space at Rye St. and E. Cromwell St., becoming the first tenant to open in that storefront.
The restaurant is a partnership between Managing Partner and Executive Chef Chad Sparrow and Common Plate Hospitality Group Founding Partner Larry Walston.
Urbano features a dining room and full-service bar and is open for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. The menu includes burritos, chimichangas, tortas, tacos, enchiladas, appetizers, entrées, and traditional Mexican desserts. It also offers a kids’ menu.
