After an long hiatus, the gal pals who brought you the legendary Roland Park Yard Sale are back with their collection of super finds!
The three women who organize the sale — Caryl Siems, Weeder Obrecht and Liz McKnight — are inveterate collectors who bring together the fruits of their compulsion in a two-day sale. It takes place on Mother’s Day weekend at 9 a.m. in their storage space on Deepdene Road in the heart of Roland Park.
The assortment of dressers, chairs, tables, beds, outdoor furniture, pictures, mirrors, knick knacks — you name it — makes this legendary sale an uber yard sale among yard sales. Everything will be priced to move!
“Whenever our hoarding tendencies get the better of us, we have to sell it off,” says Caryl Siems.
“We collect from all over the place…the Eastern Shore, vacation spots, our own houses – wherever we see cool stuff that we can get our hands on and get home, we grab it!” she adds.
Some of the items come in fix up condition, others are ready to go.
This year, local floral design shop Crimson & Clover will also be on hand.
The organizers expect the usual crowd of several hundred, so come early. Cash, checks and credit cards accepted!
