Back to school time is upon us in Baltimore City. On Broadway, that means McDonald’s franchisee LaVerne Vance is hosting her annual supply giveaway.
At the McDonald’s at 2001 N. Broadway St., Vance will give out school supplies, and provide kids with some fun and games before they head to back to class. The event is scheduled between 12 and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26. Officials from Dr. Bernard Harris Sr. Elementary School will also be onhand.
“Our hope is that through this support we can provide students with the necessary materials for a successful future and a great school year,” a press release announcing the event states.
