Hey, kids, I’ve got a tip for you. If you ever get stressed out about school, one thing you should not do is threaten to shoot up the school. That’s what 18-year-old Towson student Matthew Cole did last week, according to WJZ. And then he promptly got arrested.
Details are slight, but according to WJZ, Cole threatened to turn the school into “Virginia Tech part 2” because he wasn’t doing well in school. Apparently he wasn’t considered too much of a credible threat, because he was released on $100,000 bail. The incident is not mentioned on the Towson University Facebook or Twitter feeds.
