Did you know about all the travel opportunities through CCBC? With trips both here and abroad, there’s a trip for almost any interest.
There are one-day trips to New York and the Philadelphia Flower Show, longer International trips and everything in between. These trips are open to the public and anyone can sign up.
“The more we learn about the world around us, the better our global perspective,” said Terry Walter, coordinator of the Travel Studies program. Terry has been leading group travel for more than 20 years and knows many travel tricks that make every trip an adventure. “Our excursions are exciting, fun and really do provide ways you can learn and grow…or, at the very least, see something new and different,” she said.
CCBC’s Travel, Learn & Grow publication shows all of the trips offered by the college whether it’s spending a day visiting historical sites, beautiful gardens, or a jaunt to New York to take in a Broadway play. There are also two-day or multiple-day trips to allow that extra time to experience a more in-depth exploration of your destination with quality accommodations (as needed) and “good eats” all part of the package.
In addition, CCBC’s international trips can take you to exotic places around the world or an easy get-away to a country right next door to learn about and absorb culture, food, and people! What better way to increase your thirst for knowledge than to give yourself that first-hand global travel experience.
