The hugs, the squeals, the endless texting and inside secrets – there is something rare and unique about tween best friends. Wee Chic children’s boutique in Green Spring Station understands this special bond and has enlisted the help of local tween photographer Kakki Morrison to help capture this special time in a girls’ life.
On Saturday, April 18 and Saturday, April 25, Kakki will be at Wee Chic offering 40-minute mini-sessions for up to four young ladies at a time. Kakki will capture the silly and the serious, the fun and the goofy, as tweens strike a pose with their besties or sisters. The mini-session will utilize Wee Chic’s in-store photo studio, as well as the area around Green Spring Station. Sessions are by appointment and a $40 session fee is due at the time of booking. This fee will be credited towards the purchase of prints. If tweens arrive early, they can style themselves using Wee Chic as their own personal closet. “This is a fun and unique opportunity to capture the beautiful, sometimes awkward, period in a tween girl’s life and to celebrate her individuality,” said Bridget Quinn Stickline, owner of Wee Chic “Kakki Morrison has a wonderful eye and a knack for capturing tween and teen girls, and we are very excited to partner with her for this opportunity. At Wee Chic we are about empowering young girls, cherishing their uniqueness, and creating outlets for them to shine.”
