As part of our city’s never ending procession of specialty conventions, from November 6th through the 8th Baltimore’s Tremont Plaza Hotel is playing host to the annual conference of the Association of Bridal Consultants. Three hundred wedding professionals are expected to attend.
While we can’t expect this conference to be as visually stimulating as Otakon or ComicCon invariably are, it does bring its own geeky weirdness: a “select group of planners” will be receiving accreditation as Master Bridal Consultants, a title awarded after a “thorough” panel review.
The Tremont Plaza Hotel has expressed their excitement at the chance to host the “elite group.” Is it just me, or is anyone getting a Masonic vibe from all this?
