Trust Your Gut
When it comes to making decisions you should trust your gut reaction. However, if you have troubles doing that you can try this simple exercise from Gabrielle Bernstein:
Grab a coin then think about the choices you are mulling over. Name choice number one heads and choice number two tails. Then flip the coin. Immediately after the coin toss, ask yourself how you feel. Are you happy and excited by the verdict or anxious and frightened? The honest response is your truth.
The coin flip lets you mentally step back from the decision and distance yourself from the โchatterโ that is going on in your head, so that, ultimately, you can recognize your own instincts.

โYour finest moments in life arenโt necessarily those in which you finish first but, instead, the times when you know that you simply gave it your best.โ
