Looks can be deceiving. From the street this may look like a charming but modest home, but wait until you walk through the door! When the current owners purchased their Lakehurst Drive home they had big plans. Tucked away down a drive behind Boy’s Latin School, the setting could not be more perfect. Close to the city, with easy access to downtown, Hunt Valley, or BWI Airport, the Baltimore County house is quiet and secluded. Specimen trees include two of the tallest Gingkoes in the area, an unusual Black Ash, and a lovely cherry tree.
The fully fenced back yard, and uniquely designed laundry room that includes a tiled dog-wash area reflect the couple’s love of dogs and involvement in dog rescue.

The husband – the cook in the family – designed the kitchen, part of one addition that includes a family room and office. Double ovens, stainless steel appliances, and granite countertops are perfectly complemented by the Knotty Alder custom cabinets and wood-topped breakfast bar. With the adjoining family room, the cook is never alone in the kitchen! Click to read more (& to see cute dog pic).
